The Twinwallet from Secrid consists of two connected "Cardprotectors" made of aluminium and a cover made of high-quality leather. The two card protectors can hold up to eight cards with or twelve cards without embossing. There is also space for four more cards in the leather sleeve, as well as for banknotes and receipts. All cards in the "Cardprotectors" are RFID (radio frequency identification) protected and thus protected against contactless data theft. A patented mechanism allows all cards to be fanned out at the touch of a button.
The vintage leather is made from European cowhides and aniline-dyed, which preserves the natural surface of the leather and keeps the original leather structure visible. The leather has a sanded surface that is refined with a wax finish, which makes the leather more sensitive to scratches but also makes it more supple over time and gives it its individual character.
